Why it works for a group
It is one of the few houses where fourteen people eat at the same table without shifts: the dining room has chairs for sixteen. There is central heating throughout, so January works, and the pool is fully fenced, which counts when there are children.
Upper floor
Sitting room with a glass-fronted wood burner, a 46″ television, several sofas, air conditioning and central heating. Dining room with a wooden table and chairs for fourteen. Kitchen with a three-ring ceramic hob, fridge, 120-litre freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, breakfast bar with stools and full equipment. Three bedrooms en suite — one double and two twins.
Lower floor
Games room with an American pool table and a professional solid beech table football. Five bedrooms: three en suite (one double and two twins) and two singles sharing a separate bathroom. All with a fan and central heating.
Outside
A large terrace with the private pool, sunloungers, parasols, a round Balinese day bed, an outdoor shower and a viewing balcony over the river and the mountain. What you share with the rest of the estate
Finca La Raja is around 20,000 m² at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas, with nine separate houses spread among the trees. Outside your own plot there is a children’s playground, a pergola area with stone benches and tables, a pond with koi carp, goldfish, terrapins and mandarin ducks, a hexagonal gazebo beside the water, a stone bell tower, arches and an aqueduct, and benches placed where the Guadalhorce valley looks best.
