The pool

A large private pool, fenced all the way round, looking at the mountain. It is filled by a natural waterfall from a spring in the Sierra de Mijas. Stone benches inside the enclosure, sunloungers, parasols, and an outdoor shower set with thousand-year-old fossils. Beside it, a pond with water lilies, goldfish and cascades.

Ground floor

Open terrace with a table and six armchairs hand-carved in stone. Covered porch with timber beams and a summer kitchen: wood and charcoal barbecue, gas ring, sink, dressers and crockery. Sitting-dining room with a pitched beamed ceiling, a glazed fireplace, a 50″ television and three- and two-seat sofas. Winter kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Upper floor and mezzanine

Bedroom 3: double bed, beamed and boarded ceilings. Bedroom 4: one single. Bedroom 5: two singles. Bedroom 6: two singles and a dressing room, reached from bedroom 5 or from the gym. Bathroom 3 with a bathtub, bidet and a four-sided beamed dome. Bedroom 7, on the mezzanine: four single beds, air conditioning and its own WC, looking at the sierra.

3,000 m² of your own

The grounds are fully fenced, with a double gate and access for guests only. Gardens, Mediterranean woodland of cypress and stone pine, the pond and the pool — all of it for the group.

What you share with the rest of the estate

Finca La Raja is around 20,000 m² at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas, with nine separate houses spread among the trees. Outside your own plot there is a children’s playground, a pergola area with stone benches and tables, a pond with koi carp, goldfish, terrapins and mandarin ducks, a hexagonal gazebo beside the water, a stone bell tower, arches and an aqueduct, and benches placed where the Guadalhorce valley looks best.

What the price covers

Minimum stay: five to seven nights depending on the season. Check-in and check-out times, and whether pets are allowed, are being confirmed — ask us and we will tell you for your dates.
